HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year starter for coach John Gingery at Lincoln East High School...Team captain...Played cornerback and wide receiver...Caught 38 passes for 427 yards and four touchdowns senior year...Also had 25 tackles with four pass breakups and one interception to earn all-conference honors...Defensive career totals included 67 total tackles, 45 unassisted, and three interceptions with one touchdown return...State qualifier in the 4x100 relay and triple jump his junior year of track and field...Also plays basketball.

PERSONAL: Undecided on a college major...Parents are Nick and Becky Ropte...Has two brothers, River and Caden, and a sister, Rowan.
