Biography

2007-08 Season (Junior): Started all 29 games at center...Averaged 4.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game...Scored 10 points at Rutgers in the second game of the year and had a season-high 11 points in the loss at IPFW...Snared 11 rebounds in the home win over Western Illinois...Named to the NABC Honors Court and Summit League Winter/Spring All-Academic Team.

2006-07 Season (Sophomore): Made the first 15 starts before a torn right ACL in practice sidelined him for the year...Blocked a shot in 12 of those 15 games and needed only nine games to pass his freshman total of 19 blocks...Scored a career-high 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds vs. Valley City State...Made 5 of 9 shots for 11 points at Texas Tech and added six rebounds and a blocked shot...Snared a season-high 13 rebounds vs. Furman and notched his second collegiate double-double with 10 points and 11 boards vs. Wisconsin-Green Bay...Swatted four shots against Furman and five against UWGB in back-to-back games...Division I independent all-academic.

2005-06 Season (Freshman): Started all 28 games...NDSU’s leading rebounder in four games...Picked up his first collegiate double-double with career highs of 15 points and 14 rebounds at home against Idaho State...Had 12 boards at home vs. Idaho...Eight points and five rebounds at Idaho State, where he hit a pair of 3-pointers...Team-high seven boards at Colorado State...Four games with two blocked shots...Ranked seventh in the Division I independent stats in field-goal percentage (.510) and 10th in rebounds with 5.6 per game...Had a strong debut at Minnesota with nine points on 4-of-7 shooting and two rebounds, but it all came in the first half...Made 7 of 9 free throws in the double-double at Idaho State but struggled at the line the rest of the year going 17-for-40.

2004-05 Season (Redshirt): Sat out the entire season as a redshirt in the Bison program.

High School: Played at Dickinson High School under coach Dean Winczewski...Graduated in 2004...Two-year starter at forward and center for the Midgets...Named "Mr. Basketball" in North Dakota and was the Senior Athlete of the Year and Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior...Averaged 20 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks per game his last season...Team MVP and McDonald’s All-America nominee...Helped Dickinson High to its first ever state title in 2003...Also competed in track and field for three seasons, qualifying for state in the hurdles as a junior and senior.
