Border States congratulates Darrius Shepherd, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Shepherd, a senior from Blue Springs, Mo., has a 3.543 GPA in university studies. Shepherd was named the Most Outstanding Player at the FCS National Championship game, a 38-24 victory over Eastern Washington. Shepherd had five catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns, as the Bison won their seventh national championship in the last eight years.
