Border States congratulates Tim Heikkila, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Heikkila, a sophomore distance runner from Brule, Wis., has a 3.279 GPA in nursing. He ran a personal-best time of 4 minutes, 8.75 seconds in the mile on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the South Dakota State Indoor Classic. It was the fastest time by a Bison in seven years and ranks sixth all-time at NDSU.
