Border States congratulates Cara Beatty, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Beatty, a sophomore from Las Vegas, Nev., has a 3.600 GPA in biological sciences. She hit a two-out RBI double in the bottom of the seventh as North Dakota State rallied past Abilene Christian 6-5 at the Texas State Bobcat Classic on Sunday, Feb. 10. Beatty hit .333 with two doubles, one home run and four RBIs as the Bison went 3-1 on the weekend.
