Border States congratulates Van Holmgren, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Holmgren, a sophomore from Plymouth, Minn., has a 3.447 GPA in finance. He finished in a tie for sixth overall after he tied a career-low with a 68 at The Invitational at Savannah Harbor. With five birdies on the day, Holmgren finished in the top 10 for the eighth time in his career, as he finished with a 216 for the three rounds.
