Border States congratulates Dominic Martinez, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Martinez, a freshman from San Antonio, Texas, recorded a season-best time of 15.19 in the 110m hurdles to take sixth place at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival. Fresh off high school graduation, Martinez won the Class A state championship in the 110m hurdles as a senior in 2017. He has a 3.538 GPA in family and consumer sciences.
