Bison Track & Field Travels to UC Riverside Spring Classic

National Performance Lists
The North Dakota State University men's and women's track & field teams will travel to Riverside, Calif., this week to compete at the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic on March 27-29. Ten teams are scheduled to compete at the meet as the Bison continue their transition into the outdoor season.
UC Riverside will host Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Cornell, North Dakota State, Southern Utah, Wyoming, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara and Northern Colorado.
The decathlon and heptathlon begin on Thursday, March 27, with the decathlon beginning at 1 p.m. CT and the heptathlon starting at 2 p.m. CT. The second day of the decathlon gets underway on Friday, March 28 at 1 p.m., with the heptathlon set to resume at 2 p.m. Also slated for Friday are the women's and men's hammer throw beginning at 5 p.m. CT.
On Saturday, March 29, the field events begin at noon with the women's shot put, while the track events start at 3 p.m. with the women's steeplechase. The last event of the day is the men's 4x400m relay scheduled for 8 p.m. CT.
Select athletes made their 2014 outdoor debuts for the Bison track & field teams at Arizona State on March 21-22. Senior sprinter Antoinette Goodman posted national top-20 marks in the 100m, 200m and long jump, while the Bison men's throwers combined for five marks in the national top 50.
