The North Dakota State women's track & field team will send its distance medley and 4x400m relay teams to Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 21, with the goal of climbing the national performance lists for potential NCAA Championships qualification.

The Bison plan to run junior Erin Teschuk, sophomore Morgan Milbrath, sophomore Amy Andrushko and senior Maddie Van Beek in the distance medley relay. NDSU enters this weekend ranked 20th in the country in the event, and the top 12 teams will qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships.

In recent years, the cutoff time to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the distance medley relay has been in the area of 11:06.

In the 4x400m relay, NDSU plans to run redshirt freshman Deidre Hahn, Milbrath, senior Ashley Heinze and sophomore Rose Jackson. Heinze was an All-American last season in the 4x400m relay, running the third leg on the Bison team that placed 11th at the national meet.

The women's distance medley relay is scheduled for 10:50 a.m. (CT) inside the Loftus Sports Center. The 4x400m relay will run at 2:10 p.m. (CT).

The NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held Mar. 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark. With her times in the mile and 3,000m that rank among the top five in the NCAA, Teschuk is likely already a lock to qualify in two events.
