Wrestling Enters The Scheels Center
Today's dual is the first in the brand new Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex and will serve as the home for North Dakota State University basketball and wrestling with a seating capacity of approximately 5,700 ... Among the notable features of the Scheels Center will be a new center-hung, four-sided video display system ... The arena has a club room on the east side and an upper concourse overlooking the playing floor from each side ... The Scheels Center is part of the $50 million Sanford Health Athletic Complex, which features strength and conditioning facilities, the Gate City Bank fueling station, sports medicine and rehabilitation areas, an academic center for student-athletes, and administrative offices ... The Nodak Mutual Basketball Performance Center attached on the southwest corner of the complex provides an additional six hoops, giving NDSU one of the finest athletic facilities in the nation among institutions of its size.
