2016-17 SEASON (Senior): NCAA qualifier at 285 pounds and finished with a 0-2 record ... Placed fourth at the Big 12 Wrestling Championships ... Posted an 18-8 record including 13-4 in duals with six pins and two major decisions ... Won the Bison Open (11-12-16) with a 3-0 record.

2015-16 SEASON (Junior): Compiled a 20-12 record including 7-3 in duals with five pins, a pair of major decisions and one tech fall wrestling at 285 pounds ... Went 2-2 to place fifth at the Big 12 Championships (3-5/6-16) in Kansas City including a pin ... Won the Bison Open (11-14-15) with a 4-0 record ... Placed fifth with 4-1 ledger at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11-1-15) ... Won three of five matches at the Cliff Keen Invitational (12-4/5-15) ... Had a pair overtime wins including home opener against Virginia (11-6-15).

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Two-time National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national tournament qualifier for Highline Community College (Wash.), earning All-America honors to complete his sophomore year with 26-4 record … Two-time NJCAA academic scholar athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner for Hanford High School … Placed fifth in the Washington state tournament as a senior … Won the 2014 Canadian Junior Freestyle National Championship at 264.55 pounds in Edmonton … Ran cross country and competed in track and field.

PERSONAL: Son of Charles and Lisa Jacobsen … Has one brother, Bruce, and three sisters, Rachel, Leilani and Laura … Mother, Lisa, competed in track and field at Hawai’i, and grandfather, Leo Reed, played college football for Colorado State and drafted by the Houston Oilers in the 1961 ... University studies major.
