2017-18 SEASON (Senior): Senior year cut short by injury … Went 3-3 overall with a pair of major decisions and a tech fall to place sixth at the Bison Open (11-11-17) … Finished career with 44-40 record including 7-11 in duals (2-3 Big 12) … Recorded 10 pins, 11 major decisions and five tech falls.

2016-17 SEASON (Junior): Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Wrestling first team ... Compiled 14-12 record including 7-7 in duals with five major decisions and three tech falls ... Went 1-2 at the Big 12 Wrestling Championships ... Recorded important 6-4 win over Virginia's Sam Krivus in NDSU's victory over the nationally-ranked Cavaliers at the Virginia Duals ... Grinded out 5-4 win in North Dakota State's dual victory over nationally-ranked Iowa State in season opener ... Finished with 3-2 record at the Midlands Championships (12-29-16)  including tech fall and major decision ... Placed third at the Bison Open (11-12-16).

2015-16 SEASON (Sophomore): Selected to the Academic All-Big 12 Wrestling first team ... Competed at 141 and 149 pounds ... Finished with 15-11 ledger including 0-2 in duals ... Recorded five pins, a pair of major decisions and one tech fall ...Placed in top six at three tournaments including first place showing at the North Country Open (1-30-16) ... Won five of six matches to place third at Bison Open (11-14-15) ... Placed sixth at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11-1-15) and in the MSU Moorhead Dragon Open / Red Division (12-5-15).

2014-15 SEASON (Freshman): Competed at 149 and 157 pounds for the Bison … Put together a 12-14 record including 0-2 in duals including five pins and a pair of major decisions … Named to the Western Wrestling Conference All-Academic Team … President of the NDSU Student-Athlete Advisory Council, representative to the University Athletic Council and member of the President’s Council for Alcohol and Other Drugs … Placed third with 3-1 records in the MSU Moorhead Dragon Open/Red Division (12-7-14) and Finn Grinaker Cobber Open/Gold Division (11-22-14).

2013-14 SEASON (Redshirt): Western Wrestling Conference Coaches Honor Roll ... Compiled a 19-7 record wrestling unattached in six events at 141 pounds ... Recorded six major decisions and five pins ... Won three matches and the Jimmie Open (11-23-13) ... Placed third at the Dan Gable Endowment Open (11-16-13), winning five of six bouts ... Took four of five matches to place third at the North Country Open (2-1-14) ... Posted 4-1 record to place fifth at St. Cloud State Husky Open (12-14-13).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner for Oconto Falls High School ... Went 44-0 his senior year and won a Wisconsin Division 2 state title at 138 pounds ... Named a WIAA Scholar Athlete ... Captain three of four years on varsity squad ... Finished prep career with 156 victories and won 73 matches by pin ... Three-time state placewinner overall ... Won the USA Wrestling Junior Freestyle and Greco-Roman championships in 2012 ... Member of team that finished runner-up in conference senior year ... Also lettered in football, cross country, track and field, and golf ... Earned all-conference honors in both cross country and track and field.

PERSONAL: Son of Ronald and Karen Friedman ... Has one brother, Michael ... Graduated in May 2017 with bachelor's degree in sports management ... Pursuing master's degree in leadership in physical education and sport ... Served as president of NDSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Council and was the representative to the University Athletic Council.
