The North Dakota State women's track & field team will compete at the four-team Husker Spring Invite in Lincoln, Neb., on Saturday, Apr. 8.
In addition to host Nebraska, the Bison will line up against Northern Iowa and UMKC. NDSU is currently ranked third in the Midwest Region by the USTFCCCA, and Nebraska is No. 4.
The meet is scheduled to begin with the women's hammer throw at 9 a.m., and running events will start with the 4x100m relay at 1:30 p.m.
Three weeks into the outdoor season, the NDSU women have already established 21 new marks that rank among the school's all-time top 10 lists. The Bison have nine Summit League leaders at this point of the season – Rose Jackson (heptathlon, long jump, 200m), Alexis Woods (400m), Amy Andrushko (800m), Katelyn Weimerskirch (discus), Maddy Nilles (hammer), Alyssa Olin (javelin) and the 4x400m relay.
Eight NDSU performances currently rank among the top 25 in the NCAA this season, led by Jackson at No. 7 in the nation in the heptathlon. The Bison 4x400m relay ranks 19th in the country, and Andrushko is No. 20 in the 800m.
