FORT COLLINS, Colo. - North Dakota State's Andrew Israelson posted a third straight 1-over-par 71 to lead the Bison men's golf team Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Ram Masters Invitational hosted by Colorado State at the Fort Collins Country Club.

Israelson tied for 15th place with a three-round total of 213. Wyoming's Dan Starzinski won with a tournament-record 199.

North Dakota State finished 15th in the team standings with an 887. The Bison shot a 295 in the final round including a 72 from freshman Nate Deziel and a pair of 76s from Will Holmgren and Van Holmgren.

Deziel tied for 47th overall with a 220, Will Holmgren tied for 75th with a 227, Van Holmgren tied for 82nd with a 230 and Dax Wallat tied for 87th with a 231.

Colorado State, which won its fifth straight Ram Masters title, won by 14 shots over Illinois State. It was the largest margin of victory in the seven-year history of the event.

North Dakota State travels to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Zach Johnson Invitational on Oct. 1-2 hosted by Drake University at the Glen Oaks Country Club.
