SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- North Dakota State middle hitter Emily Halverson and South Dakota defensive specialist Anne Rasmussen secured the final Summit League volleyball weekly awards of the season after helping their respective teams finish the regular season 2-0. This is the first honor of the season for Halverson and a single-season league record seventh for Rasmussen.

Halverson hammered down 13 kills on a .464 clip while chipping in five blocks, one assist and a dig in the Bison's 3-1 win over in-state rival North Dakota. She followed up that performance with 14 kills on a .444 hitting percentage in the 3-1 victory over Oral Roberts. She ended the weekend with a total of 27 kills, 3.38 average kills per set, a .455 clip and six total blocks.

Rasmussen notched 22 digs, one assist and a service ace in USD's 3-1 victory over Western Illinois. She then turned around and matched her season-high for a three-set match with 22 digs in the Coyote's 3-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne. Her 44 total digs on the weekend moves her up to eighth on the Summit League career digs list (1,889).
