The North Dakota State University men's cross country team will compete at Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational this Saturday, Sept. 28.
The men's Division I eight-kilometer race is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. A live video stream of the meet will be available to subscribers on FloTrack.
Ten Division I men's teams are expected to enter the meet – Columbia, Duke, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, UC Riverside, Pacific, San Francisco, NDSU, and host Minnesota.
The Bison men finished 10th out of 15 teams at last year's Roy Griak Invitational, with Tim Heikkila leading NDSU with a 26th-place finish overall. Heikkila's finish was the highest by a Bison individual at the Griak in NDSU's Division I era.
This season, Heikkila and Alex Bartholomay have been the top runners for the Bison. Both juniors, Bartholomay led NDSU at the Bison Open on Aug. 30, and Heikkila paced the Bison at the SDSU Classic on Sept. 13.
