OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha held off North Dakota State 3-1 (23-25, 26-24, 25-23, 28-26) in a Summit League match played Sunday, Sept. 29, in Baxter Arena.

The Bison (5-9, 0-2 SL) are scheduled to host Purdue Fort Wayne (8-8, 2-0 SL) at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse.

Each set came down to the wire, but Omaha (9-7, 2-0 SL) found the points late. Omaha outhit the Bison .272 to .227 and each team finished with eight team blocks.

Alexis Bachmeier led the NDSU with 15 kills and 14 digs.
Syra Tanchin had 12 kills and hit .286, while
Emily Halverson added 11 kills and three blocks.
Kalli Hegerle finished with 27 assists, 13 digs and six kills.

Sadie Limback connected for a match-high 21 kills and hit .405, while Isabella Sade claimed 17 kills and four aces, and Anna Blaschko had 11 kills and hit .409. Sami Clarkson had 58 assists and 11 digs.
