GRAND FORKS, N.D. – An all-time top-10 performance by sprinter
Alex Brosseau in the 200m dash headlined the efforts of the North Dakota State men's track & field team at the UND Indoor Tune-Up on Saturday.

Brosseau, a junior from Bismarck, N.D., now ranks fifth in NDSU indoor history after winning the 200m in 21.73. He also won the 60m dash and set a new personal-best twice, running 6.95 in the prelims and 6.93 in the final.

Connor Wendel won the 400m dash in a personal-best 49.45. Bison sophomore
Kurt TeBeest claimed the 800m title in 1:56.11.

Former NDSU All-American Alex Renner won the shot put with a throw of 64-02.00 (19.56m), and the Bison earned a 2-3-4-5 finish with
Alex Talley,
Kristoffer Thomsen,
Maxwell Otterdahl and
Michael Keogan. Talley tied his career-best with a throw of 64-01.25 (19.54m). He ranks 13th in the NCAA this season.

Talley and Keogan finished first and second in the weight throw, with Talley throwing 68-06.75 (20.90m) and Keogan at 67-00.75 (20.44m).

Trent Davis won the 60m hurdles in 8.25 seconds – his third-fastest time of the season. Senior
Ben Klimpke matched his 60m hurdles PR with a time of 8.42 for second place. Freshman
Christian Walth ran a personal-best 8.50 for sixth place.

Jakob Hanna won the mile in 4:19.94. NDSU's
Noah Shafer cleared 15-5 (4.70m) to win the pole vault.

Josh Darwin won the triple jump with a season-best mark of 42-7 (12.98m), and also cleared 6-07.25 (2.01m) for third place in the high jump.

The Bison will compete at the Summit League Indoor Championships in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Feb. 28-29.
