The North Dakota State track & field program will host a pair of meets inside the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility this weekend.
NDSU welcomes a group of Division II programs on Friday, Feb. 5, for the Bison Open and multi-events competition. Saturday's Dakota Quad will feature the four Division I schools from the Dakotas – NDSU, North Dakota, South Dakota State, and South Dakota.
On Friday, multi-events action begins with the women's pentathlon at 11 a.m. and the men's heptathlon starting at noon. Field events for the Bison Open get underway at 4 p.m. Friday, with running events beginning at 4:30 with a rolling schedule.
On Saturday, the Dakota Quad begins at noon with the men's weight throw and the women's high jump. Running events are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
The Dakota Quad will be scored as a quadrangular, with the top two individuals from each team scoring in each event on a 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 scale.
Heat sheets and live results will be available through HerosTiming.com.
Due to capacity restrictions and the slight increase in number of teams and athletes competing inside the facility, there will be no tickets for sale to the public for this weekend's meets.
