Jenna Kes won the pentathlon at the Bison Open on Friday, Feb. 5, highlighting the performances of the NDSU women's track & field team.

Kes (Jordan, Minn.) finished with 3,532 points for the second-best pentathlon score of her career, winning the meet by a margin of 50 points. She posted the top performances in the 60m hurdles (9.00) and long jump (17-11.50), and had the second-fastest time in the 800m to cap the pentathlon.

Kendra Kelley won the 300m dash in 39.80, ranking fifth all-time at NDSU.

Abby Kallenbach scored a personal-best 2,883 points to finish 14th in the pentathlon.

The Bison host the Dakota Quad on Saturday, welcoming South Dakota, South Dakota State and North Dakota to the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility. Field events start at noon, with running events scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
