North Dakota State came back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits before going up 3-2 in the top of the fifth when
Sam Koehn's single scored
Skylar Padgett after a leadoff double.
Koehn finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs and
Nicole Licea was 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored for NDSU.

Mac Schulz pitched four-plus innings allowing three earned runs on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts in the loss.
North Dakota State (5-15) is scheduled to open up Summit League play with a pair of doubleheaders at Western Illinois on Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28.
