RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky scored 10 runs in the fourth inning, as the Colonels defeated the North Dakota State baseball team 15-3 in seven innings Thursday night at Earle Combs Stadium.
The Bison dropped to 36-16 overall, while Eastern Kentucky improved to 21-30 on the season. The two teams will play the second game of the three-game series on Friday night, with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m. (Central).
Eight different Bison had a hit in the game.

Zach Solano each scored a run for the Bison.
Tucker Rohde and Solano each drove in a run.Â
NDSU struck first, as Rohde doubled to the right center gap in the first inning to bring in Brookshaw. The Colonels took the lead for good in the third with four runs on three home runs. Solano scored on a passed ball in the top of the fourth before Eastern Kentucky scored 10 runs in the bottom of the inning. In the fifth, Dehne scored on a single by
