Nell Graham,
Angel Pratt and
Amy Phillips claimed event titles to headline the performances of the North Dakota State women's track & field team Friday at the first day of the Bison Open.

Graham, a sophomore from Dodge Center, Minn., won the Bison Open pentathlon with a score of 3,482 points for a new personal-best.

Pratt, a redshirt freshman from Nassau, Bahamas, ran 40.10 to win the 300m dash, ranking 10th-fastest in NDSU history. Freshman
Claire Howell took second in 40.82, and
Grace Brenner was third in 41.23.

Phillips claimed the weight throw title with a mark of 67-07.50 (20.61m).
Amanda Anderson was third at 61-06.25 (18.75m).

Bison freshman
Allie Niska took runner-up honors in the 500m, clocking 1:20.42.

Cora Andersen scored a personal-best 2,918 points in the pentathlon for 10th place.

The Bison Open will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday for the conclusion of the men's heptathlon. Running events start at noon.
