The North Dakota State University women's and men's track & field teams will compete at three meets this weekend, splitting the squads between the Bay Area in California and Vermillion, S.D.
On Friday, Apr. 1, NDSU will have athletes competing at the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, Calif., and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic hosted by San Francisco State.
On Saturday, Apr. 2, the Bison will add the USD Early Bird meet in Vermillion, S.D., to the pair of California meets on the slate.
After just one outdoor meet this season, the Bison have six marks that rank among the Top 30 in the NCAA. Senior Amy Phillips is the highest-ranked NDSU athlete, standing at No. 3 on the NCAA performance list in the hammer throw. Seniors Trevor Otterdahl (No. 9) and Kristoffer Thomsen (No. 10) join Phillips with Top 10 national rankings in the shot put.
