BISMARCK, N.D. – Bison senior
Amanda Anderson won the discus, shot put, and hammer throw to headline the performances of the North Dakota State women's track & field team at the Al Bortke Open hosted by the University of Mary on Saturday.

Anderson's winning marks were 176-3 (53.72m) in the discus, 47-7 (14.50m) in the shot put, and 168-4 (51.30m) in the hammer.

The NDSU women swept the top three places in the hammer throw with
Merrideth Spiers (164-11 / 50.27m) and
Annabel Thorstenson (158-7 / 48.33m) following up Anderson's first career victory in the event.

Sophomore
Salmata Korgho won the 100m hurdles, matching her personal-best with a time of 13.90.

The Bison women won the 4x100m relay with the team of
Aaliyah Heine,
Angel Pratt,
Bonet Henderson and Christiana Collins running 46.48. In the 100m dash, Henderson took second in 12.01, and Heine was third in 12.06.

Collins took first in the 200m dash, finishing in 24.94.

Junior
Grace Brenner clocked the second-fastest 400m dash of her career, taking runner-up honors in 56.56.
Allie Niska was fourth in 57.63.

NDSU redshirt freshman
Kaci Cooper ran a season-best 1:04.28 for third place in the 400m hurdles.

Makenna Vollmer took third in the triple jump with a mark of 36-08.50 (11.19m).
