NDSU Women Wrap Up Competition at NCAA West Preliminary Rounds

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The North Dakota State University women's track & field team finished competition at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds on Saturday, May 28.
Senior Kelby Anderson took 18th in the 5,000m, running 16:29.45.
Bison senior Amanda Anderson placed 24th in the discus with a throw of 169-11 (51.80m). Daejha Moss tied for 24th in the high jump, clearing 5-07.25 (1.71m).
A pair of Bison women competed in the triple jump, with Alissa Melvin taking 33rd at 40-11 (12.47m) and Jodi Lipp finishing 39th at 40-4 (12.29m).
The NDSU women will be represented by Amy Phillips in the hammer throw and Kari Wolfe in the javelin at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., on June 9.
