BOSTON, Mass. – A pair of milers and the Bison 4x400m relay team posted some of the top times in school history to headline the performances of the North Dakota State men's track & field team at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on Saturday.
 
Freshman Ethan Moe (Williston, N.D.) ran a personal-best 4:07.58 in the mile at Boston, ranking him seventh on the NDSU all-time list. Symon Keiser improved his mile personal-best to 4:07.63 to rank eighth in NDSU history.
 
Khamarly Holmes, Cullen Curl, Isaac Huntington, and Carter Elde ran 3:12.58 in the 4x400m relay, making them the seventh-fastest relay in NDSU indoor history. Elde led the Bison men in the 400m dash in 48.64, and Huntington finished in a season-best 48.89.
 
Sophomore Blake Nyenati won the 60m hurdles title in Boston, clocking 7.89. Logan Mathieu took third in 8.02.
 
Bison throwers Kaden Pastian and Cam Landis finished 1-2 in the shot put, with Pastian throwing 57-3 (17.45m) and Landis at 56-0 (17.08m).
 
At the SDSU Indoor Classic in Brookings, S.D., the Bison men turned in several more impressive performances.
 
Jake Arason set a new career-best in the 5,000m, running 14:31.71 to rank sixth in NDSU indoor history. Tyson Mahar ran a personal-best 14:33.73 in the 5,000m for No. 7 on the NDSU all-time indoor list.
 
Freshman Quinn Roehl ran 2:28.68 in the 1000m to rank 11th in NDSU history.
 
Freshman Michael Haugo (Moorhead, Minn.) won the long jump at SDSU with a mark of 23-02.50 (7.07m). Braden Brown won the high jump, clearing 6-8 (2.03m).
 
Freshman Gabe Miles clocked 22.03 in the 200m dash – the fastest time by a Bison this season in the event. Miles also ran a season-best 48.94 in the 400m dash.
