Bison Men’s Track & Field Aiming to Win Summit League Title at Home this Weekend

The North Dakota State men's track & field team will attempt to win its 10th team title at the Summit League Indoor Championships this Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24, as the Bison host the meet at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility on campus.
The Bison men have captured nine indoor team titles in 16 years since joining The Summit League in 2008. Combined with 14 outdoor team titles, the NDSU men have won 23 out of 31 team conference championships in the past 16 years.
NDSU finished third in the team standings behind South Dakota and South Dakota State at last year's Summit League Indoor Championships. The Bison last won the conference indoor team title in 2021.
NDSU has four of the league's top five performers this season in the 60m hurdles, and five of the top eight performers in the 400m dash.
The meet will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT on both days with the multi-events. Field events will start at 3 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Running events will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.
