FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State soccer heads back on the road with a week long trip to Hawaii. The Bison will play three games in the Honolulu area at Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium, beginning with Hawaii Pacific on August 27. NDSU will then play two games in the Outrigger No Ka Oi, taking on Grand Canyon on August 29 before facing host Hawaii on September 1.

The Series
The Bison will face Hawaii Pacific for the first time in program history on Tuesday. NDSU is 2-0 all-time against Grand Canyon, including a 3-2 overtime win in Hawaii in 2018. The Bison are 1-2 all-time against Hawaii, falling 1-0 in Fargo in the most recent meeting in 2019.

Olivia Watson scored her 14th career goal last week, moving into a tie for ninth in career goals at NDSU in the Division I era. Watson sits tied with Brooklyn Dyce in ninth, with Holly Enderle and Michelle Gaffaney (15), and Mariah Haberle (16) next on the list for Watson.

Back-to-Back Cleansheets
The Bison have recorded cleansheets against Green Bay and Alabama State in the last two games. It's the first time in nearly two years with the last consecutive cleansheet run coming in mid-September of 2022.

The Kavanagh-Russmann Connection
Devon Kavanagh and
Morgan Russmann teamed up for two goals against Alabama State. Both times, Kavanagh played crosses in from the right wing. Russmann settled the first before firing a shot into the bottom left. On the second, Russmann met Kavanagh's cross with a one-timer into the bottom right.

What's Next?
North Dakota State returns home after the trip to Hawaii, taking on Idaho State on Saturday, September 8 in the first of two straight at Dacotah Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. against the Bengals.
