NDSU Women Look to Defend Summit League Outdoor Crown at Home this Week

The North Dakota State women's track & field team will attempt to win its 17th outdoor conference title this week, hosting the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 14-16 at the Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex on the NDSU campus.
After joining The Summit League prior to the 2008 season, NDSU won 16 outdoor track & field team championships in 17 tries.
Combined with 17 indoor team titles, the NDSU women have won 33 out of 36 team conference championships in the past 19 years.
Based on the league performance lists entering the meet, the 100m hurdles, javelin, shot put, heptathlon, and 200m project to be some of the highest-scoring events for the Bison women.
