Bison Men Reclaim Summit League Outdoor Crown for 16th Title in 18 Years

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team posted a dominant showing at the Summit League Outdoor Championships on the way to its 16th team title in 18 seasons.
The Bison men racked up 238.5 points to win by 76.5 points over second-place South Dakota State (162). South Dakota took third with 146.5.
Combined with 10 indoor team titles, the NDSU men have now won 26 out of 37 team conference championships in the past 19 years.
Bison sophomore Adam Dugger claimed the Summit League title in the triple jump, leaping a personal-best 51-11 (15.82m) to break Pete Wodrich's 39-year-old school record. Dugger now stands at No. 30 on the NCAA performance list this season.
Ethan Moe charged down the home stretch to capture his second career Summit League title in the 1500m.
NDSU's Gabe Miles, Otto Anderson, Carter Elde and Zackery Bruder won the 4x400m title in 3:12.25 to cap the meet.
Freshman Ryder Bickett won the javelin title with a personal-best 221-7 (67.54m), ranking 10th in NDSU history. The Bison men have now captured 14 consecutive Summit League titles in the javelin.
NDSU swept the top three places in the javelin with Logan Arason in second at 202-6 (61.73m) and Zach Lilly in third at 197-7 (60.23m). Freshman Daniel Severud placed fifth with a throw of 193-4 (58.94m).
Freshman Otto Anderson ran a personal-best 52.21 to place second in the 400m hurdles and rank No. 3 all-time at NDSU in the event.
Miles took second place in the 400m dash, running 47.59. Bruder was sixth.
Kaleb Foltz and Moe finished second and third in the 800m.
Reece Grosserode was the Summit League runner-up in the triple jump with a mark of 50-09.25 (15.47m). Carlton Mukurazita took fifth at 48-01.25 (14.66m).
Aiden Krause (176-1 / 53.67m) and Kaden Pastian (175-7 / 53.52m) finished third and fourth in the discus.
Freshman Joshua Kyei-Baffour placed third in the 110m hurdles in 13.75. Trey Heinrich was fifth, and Trey Knoke was sixth.
Ramon Duran took fourth in the 400m hurdles in 52.97, and Elde was fifth in 53.39.
Tyler Milkes placed fifth in the 200m dash in 21.35 and sixth in the 100m dash in 10.60.
Kaden Pastian was named the Championships Field MVP as the top scorer in the field events, and Otto Anderson was named the Newcomer of the Championships as the top-scoring true freshman.
