2016 SEASON (SENIOR): Played in 48 games with 42 starts ... Hit .197 with 28 hits in 142 at bats ... Tallied six doubles, two triples, 18 RBI, 12 walks, and a career-best eight stolen bases ... Recorded mutiple hits in seven games during the season ... Tied for second in most sacrifice flies in a season with five ... Threw out 15 base runners attempting to steal on 46 attempts ... Made one appearance on the mound against Concordia-Moorhead May 3, surrendering no earned runs on two hits in one inning with two strikeouts.

2015 SEASON (JUNIOR): Played in 46 games, including 40 starts at catcher ... Hit .266 with 38 hits in 143 at bats ... Belted a team-high eight home runs, including a pair of grand slams ... Compiled three doubles, 26 RBI and a .455 slugging percentage.   

AT PIMA CC: Played in 52 games as a sophomore, compiling a batting average of .247 with 40 hits in 162 at bats ... Hit eight doubles, one triple and one home run and drove in 30 runs ... Stole 11 bases and scored 25 runs ... Saw action in 35 games as a freshman, hitting .284 with 34 hits in 120 at bats ... Tallied six doubles, two triples and one homer to go along with 28 RBI and four stolen bases.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Todd Welch at Cienega High School in Vail, Ariz., where he was a four-year starter and two-year letterwinner ... Was selected to the Senior All-Star game after hitting .475 with five homers and 43 RBI in 32 games played as a senior ... Batted .406 with eight round trippers and 38 RBI in 32 games as a junior. 

PERSONAL: Son of Francisco Jose and Sagrarro Gamez ... Has three brothers, Francisco, Luis and Alex, along with a sister, Lourdes ... His father, Francisco, spent time in the Milwaukee Brewers' minor league system during the 90s and the Mexican League with the Monterrey Sultanes ... Criminal justice major.
