Cross Country (Sophomore): Among NDSU’s top four finishers at every meet … Top finisher for the Bison at the Summit League Championships, placing 11th overall for second-team All-Summit League honors … Won the UND Ron Pynn Classic title on Oct. 15, running a personal-best 25:24.5 for the 8k course … No. 2 finisher for the Bison at Oregon’s Bill Dellinger Invitational on Sept. 16, running 25:36.7 for 20th place in the 8k … Summit League Academic All-League honoree.
Indoor (Freshman): Placed 6th in the 3000m at the Summit League Championships in a season-best 8:29.03 … Season-best 15:06.40 in the 5000m at the Iowa State Classic.
Outdoor (Freshman): Summit League champion in the 5000m … Ran a personal-best 14:22.01 in the 5000m at the Mt. SAC Relays, ranking him 3rd all-time at NDSU in the event … 14:22.01 was the fastest 5000m time by a Bison in more than 25 years … Also finished 10th in the 10,000m at the conference meet … Season-best times of 1:56.44 in the 800m and 3:56.58 in the 1500m … Summit League Academic All-League honoree.
2015-16 SEASON
Cross Country (Freshman): Among NDSU’s top five finishers at every meet, including three meets as the top finisher for the Bison … Placed 12th at the Summit League Championships for second-team All-Summit League honors … Named the Summit League Newcomer of the Championships as the top-finishing freshman … Season-best 8k time of 24:36.1 at the Stanford Invitational on Sept. 26 … Finished 3rd overall in his collegiate debut at the Bison Open on Sept. 4.
Indoor (Redshirt): Competing unattached, ran the 3000m in 8:27.94 to meet the qualifying standard for the USATF Junior Championships.
Outdoor (Redshirt): Competed unattached as a redshirt … Placed 11th in the 5,000m at the USATF Junior Championships in Clovis, Calif., in late June.
HIGH SCHOOL: Captured back-to-back North Dakota Class B state cross country championships as a junior in 2013 and senior in 2014, running the 5k course in 15:59.6 his senior year … Swept the North Dakota Class B state titles in the 1600m and 3200m as a senior, while also taking 3rd in the 800m … Set state meet records in the 1600m and 3200m … Won state championships in the 1600m and 3200m as a sophomore as well … State runner-up in all 3 events as a junior … Placed 6th at the state cross country meet as a sophomore in 2012 and took 12th as a freshman in 2011.
