BEFORE NDSU: Redshirted at North Dakota during the 2014 season ... Two-year starter at Century Community College in 2015 and 2016 ... Hit .420 with 66 hits in 157 at bats his freshman year ... Tallied 51 runs scored, eight doubles, four triples, four home runs, 34 RBIs, 31 walks and 11 stolen bases as a freshman ... Was a member of the fourth and fifth place NJCAA D3 World Series teams.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-year letterwinner and starter at Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, Minn., where he graduated in 2013 ... Also played football and basketball. 

PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Dawn Twenge ... Has one brother, Alex, and a sister, Alyson ... His father, Paul, played baseball at Mayville State from 1967-1971 ... Played summer baseball for the Green Isle Irish from 2014-2016 ... Plans to major in English and minor in criminal justice at NDSU.
