2018 SEASON (JUNIOR): Appeared in four games in relief … Posted a 0-0 record with a 18.00 record … Gave up six earned runs on five hits, walking four and striking out four.

2017 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Did not play. 

BEFORE NDSU: Redshirted at Minnesota State Mankato during the 2015 season ... Lettered as a redshirt freshman at Southeast CC in 2016 ... Went 3-3 with 40 strikeouts in 15 appearances and 33 innings pitched. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner and starter at Prior Lake High School in Prior Lake, Minn., where he graduated in 2014 ... Held opponents to a .161 batting average and went 4-2 on the mound in 36 innings of work as a senior ... Also lettered in football. 

PERSONAL: Son of Neil and Jen Truso ... Has two twin brothers, Devin and Tyler ... Plans to major in business marketing at NDSU.
