HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner and starter at Baraboo High School ... Was a team captain as a junior and senior ... As a senior, posted a 7-1 record with a 1.40 ERA in 45 innings pitched, and tallied 71 strikeouts while only giving up nine earned runs ... In his career at Baraboo, Ginther was 12-8 with a 2.16 ERA in 171 innings of work and compiled 213 strikeouts while only surrendering 79 earned runs ... Garnered second-team all-state honors as a utility player and was the WBCA All-Star Game starting pitcher ... Three-time all-conference selection, including honorable mention accolades as a sophomore, second-team honors as a junior and first team honors as a senior ...
