CAREER: Finished his career ranked inside the top 10 in several NDSU all-time categories: most games started (t-1st, 220), most at-bats (1st, 858), most walks (1st, 120), most games played (2nd, 220), most runs scored (t-2nd, 168), most RBI (2nd, 165), most stolen bases (t-2nd, 48), most hits (3rd, 239), most total bases (3rd, 384), most doubles (4th, 46), most home runs (t-4th, 27), most triples (t-6th, 9) and most home runs (t-4th, 27)… One of only two players in Bison history to both appear and start in at least 220 career games, joining Bennett Hostetler (2017-21) …Recorded 66 career multiple hit games and 45 career multiple RBI games.

2023 SEASON (SENIOR): Started all 53 games…Led the Bison in slugging percentage (.565), home runs (13) and runs scored (51)…His 13 home runs ranked tied for fourth on the NDSU single-season list…Registered a career-best .308 batting average…Totaled a career-high 66 hits with a career-best 14 doubles…Contributed 40 RBI…Tallied 18 multiple hit games and 10 multiple RBI games…Stole 12 bases on 14 attempts…Registered a .956 fielding percentage…Connected on a season-high four hits, including three doubles to go along with three RBI and two runs in the win at Sacramento State (Feb. 19)…His three doubles tied a career-high and program record… Helped the Bison set the single-season record for doubles in a season with 116…Named to the All-Summit League First team for the first time in his career.

2022 SEASON (JUNIOR): Started all 46 games he appeared in…Led the Bison in RBI (46) and runs (36)…Ranked second on the team in hits (52), stolen bases (13) and home runs (8)…Posted 10 doubles…Registered a .275 batting average to go along with a .347 on-base percentage and .466 slugging percentage…Contributed a team-best 18 multiple hit games and 15 multiple RBI games…Helped the Bison set the single-season record for stolen bases with 87…Totaled a season-high four runs with three hits at Northern Colorado (March 27)…Named to the All-Summit League Second Team…Earned a spot on the Summit League All-Academic Team.

2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Granted extra year of eligibility from NCAA due to Covid-19...Started all 61 games...Hit .263 in 224 at-bats with 59 hits, including nine doubles, two triples and five home runs...Drove in 38 runs, while scoring 49...Scored three runs against Western Illinois (March 19)...Had three hits against Western Kentucky (Feb. 22) and Western Illinois (April 10)...Drove in three runs against Saint Louis (Feb. 26) and Northern Colorado (March 7)...Had multiple hits in 16 games and drove in multiple runs in nine games...Tied his own school record with two triples against Nevada (June 5)...Had three games with three walks...Tied NDSU record for games played in a season with 61...His 36 walks are tied for the third-most in a season in NDSU history...Summit League Academic Honor Roll selection...Named to Summit League Commisioner's List of Academic Excellence.

2020 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Started all 17 games before season was cut short due to coronavirus pandemic...Ranked third on team with a .274 batting average...Had 17 hits in 62 at-bats, including a double, four triples and a home run...Drove in 16 runs while scoring nine...Had a .468 slugging percentage and .342 on-base percentage...Had a perfect fielding percentage in 64 chances...Ranked second in the nation and led the Summit League with five sacrifice flies...Led the nation with four triples, while ranking third with .24 triples per game...Tied a school record with two triples against Eastern Michigan (Feb. 28)...Tied for second in school history with five sacrifice flies...Named to Summit League Academic Honor Roll...

2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played and started in all 43 games … Recorded a team-high 45 hits in 169 at bats to go along with 23 runs scored, 25 RBI, a team-leading 12 doubles, 28 walks and 10 stolen bases … Had a .972 fielding percentage … Posted 10 multi-hit games … Went 3-for-5 with a school-record tying three doubles and a run scored in his first career game at Sacramento State on Feb. 16 … 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs scored against Northern Colorado on March 1… 4-for-5 with three RBI against Oral Roberts on April 19… Summit League Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-State First Team and WBCA Division 2 Player of the Year in 2017 … First team all-conference and WBCA All-District First Team … Wisconsin Baseball Central Player of the Year … Holds the school records for at bats, hits, doubles, batting average and slugging percentage at Prescott High School … Batted .583 with 60 hits, 39 runs scored, 23 doubles, three triples, two home runs, 40 RBI, 17 stolen bases, 19 walks and a .874 slugging percentage in his senior season … Also compiled a .975 fielding percentage.

PERSONAL: Son of Joe and Tina Brookshaw … Has two brothers, Billy and Mike ... Dad played baseball at Wisconsin-River Falls, while both brothers played baseball at Augsburg...Majoring in business administration.
