CAREER: Finished his career ranked inside the top 10 in several NDSU all-time categories: most games started (1st, 56), most innings pitched (3rd, 290.2), most strikeouts (4th, 231), fewest walks allowed/nine inning game (5th, 2.57) and most wins (t-6th, 17)…His 56 career starts ranked tied for second among active career leaders in NCAA baseball in 2023.
2023 SEASON (SENIOR): Made 14 appearances with 12 starts on the mound…Tossed 30 strikeouts over 42.0 innings…Logged four or more strikeouts in four games…Posted a season-high five strikeouts over 3.0 innings in the win at Nebraska (May 3).
2022 SEASON (JUNIOR): Made a team-high 15 starts on the mound…His 15 starts led the Summit League and rank tied for second the NDSU single-season list…Posted seven wins on the mound, which ranked tied for seventh on the NDSU single-season list…Slotted second the team in strikeouts with 57 over 75.1 innings…Contributed four or more strikeouts in eight games…Tallied a season-high nine strikeouts with one walk over 6.2 innings against Omaha (April 15)…Named Summit League Pitcher of the Week (May 2).

2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 13 games, all starts ... Compiled a team-best 2.74 ERA in 88.2 innings pitched … Had 75 strikeouts, a .240 opponent batting average and three complete games ... High School: Loven went 7-1 in 58 2/3 innings pitched and posted an impressive 0.84 ERA with 54 strikeouts and only 12 walks as a junior at Champlin Park ... He allowed just seven earned runs on 40 hits ... In American Legion baseball during the summer of 2017, Loven compiled a 1.89 ERA in 26 innings of work ...
