CAREER: Finished his career ranked inside the top 10 in several NDSU all-time categories: most games started (1st, 56), most innings pitched (3rd, 290.2), most strikeouts (4th, 231), fewest walks allowed/nine inning game (5th, 2.57) and most wins (t-6th, 17)…His 56 career starts ranked tied for second among active career leaders in NCAA baseball in 2023.

2023 SEASON (SENIOR): Made 14 appearances with 12 starts on the mound…Tossed 30 strikeouts over 42.0 innings…Logged four or more strikeouts in four games…Posted a season-high five strikeouts over 3.0 innings in the win at Nebraska (May 3).

2022 SEASON (JUNIOR): Made a team-high 15 starts on the mound…His 15 starts led the Summit League and rank tied for second the NDSU single-season list…Posted seven wins on the mound, which ranked tied for seventh on the NDSU single-season list…Slotted second the team in strikeouts with 57 over 75.1 innings…Contributed four or more strikeouts in eight games…Tallied a season-high nine strikeouts with one walk over 6.2 innings against Omaha (April 15)…Named Summit League Pitcher of the Week (May 2).

2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Granted extra year of eligibility from NCAA due to Covid-19...Made 12 starts, compiling a 3-3 record with a 4.82 ERA...Struck out 50, while allowing 11 walks, in 61.2 innings of work...Tossed a complete game shutout against Omaha (May 7)...Pitched a season-high eight innings against Omaha (May 27)...Struck out a season-high nine at South Dakota State (April 23)...Allowed 1.61 walks per nine innings, the ninth-lowest single-season average in school history...Named to the Summit League Academic All-League Team...Earned a spot on the Summit League Championship All-Tournament Team...Voted to the All-Summit League Second Team as a starting pitcher...Named to Summit League Academic Honor Roll...Named to the Summit League Commissioners List of Academic Excellence.

2020 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Started four games before season was cut short due to coronavirus pandemic...Tallied a 2-1 record with a 3.13 ERA...Struck out 19, while allowing just five walks, in 23 innings of work...Struck out a season-high six against Hawaii (Feb. 14) and Eastern Michigan (Feb. 28)...Ranks second in school history with 1.61 walks allowed per nine innings in his career...Named the Summit League Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 24)...Voted to the Summit League Academic All-League Team...Named to Summit League Academic Honor Roll...Named to Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence...

2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 13 games, all starts ... Compiled a team-best 2.74 ERA in 88.2 innings pitched … Had 75 strikeouts, a .240 opponent batting average and three complete games ... Had a 4-2 record, giving up 27 earned runs on 78 hits … Collected a season-high 11 strikeouts on April 20 against Oral Roberts …  Went nine innings, allowing a run on five hits and three strikeouts against Western Illinois on April 27 … Began his career with 14 scoreless innings in his first two-plus starts … Finished second in the Summit League in ERA …  Named to The Summit League Academic Honor Roll … Named Summit League Pitcher of the Week on May 6 …  Named to the All-Summit League First Team … Summit League Newcomer of the Year … Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American.

High School: Loven went 7-1 in 58 2/3 innings pitched and posted an impressive 0.84 ERA with 54 strikeouts and only 12 walks as a junior at Champlin Park ... He allowed just seven earned runs on 40 hits ... In American Legion baseball during the summer of 2017, Loven compiled a 1.89 ERA in 26 innings of work ... He tallied 37 strikeouts and only three walks while allowing seven earned runs on 29 hits.
