2015 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Made 11 appearance in relief for NDSU ... Compiled a 9.33 ERA with 17 strikeouts and 10 walks in 18.1 innings of work ... Allowed 19 earned runs on 23 hits. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach John Hardgrove at Mahtomedi High School in Mahtomedi, Minn. where he was named all-state and all-conference his senior year ...  Also was all-conference as a junior and was selected team MVP ... Set the career batting average record at Mahtomedi his junior season, batting .547 with 23 RBI ... Three-year letterwinner and starter ... participated in the Lions All-Star game for Team East ... Also played basketball and football ... Named all-conference in football.

PERSONAL: Son of David and Lisa Baumgard ... Has one brother, Sean ... Plans to major in finance at NDSU.
