Athletic player with a large frame and good jumping ability...Solid rebounder with potential to become a good scorer...Could be a surprise player this year...Added 16 pounds to his frame during summer workouts in his first year on the team workout program...Faces up and shoots well from 10 to 15 feet.

2004-05 Season (Freshman): Played in 25 of 28 games but did not make any starts...Averaged 2.1 points and 1.9 rebounds...Had breakout games at Southwest Minnesota State (11/27) and vs. Rider (12/30) at the Wisconsin-Green Bay tournament...Scored 12 points on 4-of-4 shooting and 4-of-4 free throws at Southwest and added eight rebounds...Shot 5-for-8 against Rider and finished with 12 points and five boards.

2003-04 Season (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison progam.

High School: Three-year starter at center and forward for the Dickinson High School team...Averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds per game his senior year to help the Midgets to the North Dakota Class A state title...Named the Player of the Game in Dickinson’s 42-32 championship win over Williston...First team All-Western Dakota Association pick his final two years... Dickinson’s basketball program went from 2-18 his sophomore year to 22-3 his senior season...Also participated in track & field for four years, lettering three times...Finished seventh in the 300-meter hurdles at the Class A state meet his senior year.

Personal: Majoring in civil engineering...Worked for Avis Rent A Car Systems during the summer washing and servicing vehicles...Enjoys water sports, golf and racquetball in his spare time...Son of Henry and Joyce Brown of Dickinson...Family includes an older sister, Krista, and a younger sister, Kelley.
