High School: Two-year starter and three-time letterman at Pillager High School for coaches Jim Bentson and Jerry Fornshell...Graduated in 2004...Averaged 15.7 points and 5.8 assists over his three-year career as Pillager posted a varsity record of 65-20...Averaged 22.7 points and 7.0 rebounds as a senior and had two 40-point games...Clicked for a school-record 47 points against Cass Lake-Bena and had 44 points against Pequot Lakes...Also set the school single-season scoring record with 590 points...Named the Area Player of the Year and earned Pillager’s Male Athlete of the Year award...Two-time all-conference pick and a second-team all-state selection.
