Hanna Grinaker is in her second season as a graduate assistant coach with the North Dakota State track and field and cross country programs. She works primarily with the distance runners.
Grinaker was a two-time All-American and first team All-Big Ten cross country runner for the Wisconsin Badgers. She was also the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in cross country in 2006 as well as a three-time All-Region honoree. A native of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Grinaker was a member of the U.S.A. North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Cross Country Championship team in 2008.
On the track, she was a two-time NCAA qualifier, competing in the 5,000 meters in 2007 and the 10,000 meters in 2009.
Grinaker graduated from Wisconsin in May 2011 with a double major in psychology and sociology. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in exercise science and nutrition at NDSU.
