2009-10 (Junior): Went 13-11 overall and 9-6 in duals...Pinned three opponents...Won the Bison Open title for the second straight year...Recorded two straight pins against Sacred Heart and Air Force...Posted a 1-2 record at the West Regional, winning his first bout in a 10-3 decision over Utah Valley’s Monte Shmaulhaus...Fell to third-seeded Andy O’Loughlin of UNI and South Dakota State’s David Michaud.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Posted a 16-11 overall record and 9-7 mark in duals at 184 pounds...Tied for first with his brother Phil Moenkedick (Concordia) at the Bison Open...Went 3-0 at the Northern Quad, defeating Portland State’s Brady Garner, Minnesota’s Brent Eidenshink and Northern Colorado’s Ryan Johnson...Pinned Dickinson State’s Brett Owen in 2:32...Competed in the NCAA West Regional and went 2-2.
2007-08 (Freshman): Wrestled at 174 and 184 for the Bison...Went 16-14 overall with a 9-10 record in duals...Finished third at Bison Open and Kaufman-Brand Open...Won matches against Northern Colorado and Portland State by fall...Competed in the NCAA West Regional at 184, where he went 0-2 against Ed Matthews of Northern Colorado and Tyler Sorenson of South Dakota State.
2006-07 (Redshirt): Wrestled unattached in three tournaments at 174, finishing with an overall record of 10-4...Won by pin over Tyler French of Air Force at the Kaufman-Brand Open...Placed fourth at both the Bison Open and Kaufman-Brand Open.
High School
Graduated from Perham High School in 2006...Coached by Robb Moser...Captured the Class AA Minnesota State Championship at 171 pounds his senior season with a record of 43-0...Also went to state his junior season and finished with a 39-3 record...Two-time conference champion that had a career record of 164-53...Perham’s all-time leader in wins...Four-year letterwinner in wrestling and lettered twice in baseball...Academic all-state selection...National Honor Society member and Student Investment Award winner.
