2011-12 SEASON (Junior)

NCAA Championships qualifier at 125 pounds ... finished the season with a record of 33-12 and an 11-4 mark in duals ... nine pins, five tech falls, and eight major decisions ... three wins over ranked opponents ... went 3-2 at the NCAA Championships, coming up one win shy of All-America honors ... opened the NCAA Tournament with a pin of George Mason's Vince Rodriguez in 2:23 and later recorded a major decision against Pat Rollins of Oregon State, 9-1 ... his two losses at the NCAA Championships came against the No. 1 seed (Matt McDonough, Iowa) and No. 2 seed (Zach Sanders, Minnesota) ... won the NCAA West Regional on Mar. 4 with a 3-0 record ... 5-1 in Western Wrestling Conference duals ... registered dual wins against Nebraska, Oregon State, Boise State and Arizona State, among others ... fifth place at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on Dec. 2-3 ... runner-up at the Bison Open on Nov. 12 ... defeated ranked Michael Martinez of Wyoming twice - at the Las Vegas Invitational and the NCAA West Regional ... 2010-11 SEASON (Sophomore)

Went 32-11 overall and 12-2 in duals at 125 pounds...Tallied seven pins...Won the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open with a 4-0 record...Finished second at the Bison Open and third in the elite division at the Kaufman-Brand Open...Won a 4-0 decision over Joe Roth in NDSU's upset win over No. 9 Central Michigan...Took second at the Reno Tournament of Champions...Won seven straight duals beginning with Mercyhurst on Jan. 8 and ending with a 3-1 loss to No. 25 Wyoming's No. 18 Michael Martinez on Jan. 31...Upset No. 13 Ben Kjar, 8-4, in the dual win over Utah Valley...Went 0-2 at the NCAA West Regional with losses to Martinez and Kjar...Earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament...Opened the tournament with 4-3 loss to 11th seeded Frank Perrelli of Cornell...Racked up three straight wins...Defeated Princeton's Garrett Frey by fall...Won a 10-5 decision over Harvard's Steven Keith...Won an 8-2 decision over Wyoming's Martinez to advance to consolation quarterfinals...Fell to seventh seeded Ryan Mango of Stanford, 12-7, for his second loss and elimination...Earned NWCA All-Academic honors...Also named to Western Wrestling Conference All-Academic team.

2009-10 SEASON (Redshirt)

Competed in five tournaments as an unattached wrestler...Posted a record of 18-4...Won the Dickinson State Classic with a 4-0 mark...Placed second in the Bison Open, Dragon Open and Jimmie Open.


2008-09 SEASON (Freshman)

Went 10-17 overall and 6-10 in duals...Competed at both 125 and 133 pounds...Finished second at the Bison Open and sixth at the Kaufman-Brand Open (Elite division)...Defeated both Portland State's Zach Martinez and Augsburg's Seth Flodeen by fall...Moved up to 133 pounds at the Air Force match and wrestled at that weight the rest of the season...Went 0-2 at the NCAA West Regional...Named to the Western Wrestling Conference Coaches' Honor Roll for academics.

Three-time Montana state champion...Four-year all-conference and all-state selection...As a senior, went 42-0 with 34 pins...Finished his career with a 132-22 record and 86 pins...Won a silver medal at Florida Nationals...High school All-American...Also ran two years of varsity cross country...Four-time Academic All-State performer and member of the National Honor Society.
