Redshirted ... wrestled unattached at 197 pounds at six open tournaments, going 9-11 overall with a pair of pins ... finished second in the Maroon Division of the Finn Grinaker Cobber Open Nov. 17 with a 3-1 record ... also finished second at the North Country Open Feb. 2 with a 3-1 record ... finished sixth Nov. 4 at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open. 

HIGH SCHOOL
State champion at 195 lbs. as a senior, posting a record of 43-1 and a perfect 22-0 mark in duals ... also claimed a regional championship as a senior ... state runner-up at 189 lbs. as a junior in 2011 ... placed sixth in freestyle (195 lbs.) at Junior Nationals in Fargo in 2012 ... four-year state meet qualifier in wrestling ... also played football and baseball ... was an all-league middle linebacker and all-league catcher ... named honorable mention all-state linebacker.
