Redshirted ... wrestled unattached at seven open tournaments, going 15-12 with six pins ... went 3-1 to place second at the Finn Grinaker Cobber Open Nov. 17 ... was fifth with a record of 3-2 at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open Nov. 4 ... posted a record of 3-1 Dec. 8 at the Husky Open to place fifth ... was fifth at the North Country Open Feb. 2 with a record of 3-2 ... placed sixth at the MSU Moorhead Dragon Open Dec. 1, going 2-2. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Three-time state meet qualifier ... concluded his career with 131 career wins ... posted a record of 36-9 with 19 pins as a senior in 2012 ... won regional titles at 119 and 126 pounds as a junior and senior, respectively ... placed eighth at the Minnesota Christmas Tournament as both a junior and senior ... named 'Hardest Worker' and 'Most Dedicated' at Irondale ... also a pole vaulter in track & field.
