Border States congratulates Elliott Stone, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Stone, a graduate student distance runner from Bismarck, N.D., earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a 4.0 cumulative GPA and is now pursuing a master's in business administration. He ranks fourth in NDSU history in both the indoor 3,000m and outdoor 5,000m.

Stone has also been voted a first-team Academic All-American twice, and was named the 2018-19 Summit League Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year across all sports.
