Border States congratulates Carter Thompson, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Thompson, a sophomore from Fargo, N.D., garnered his first Summit League Player of the Week award for his performance during the week of April 23 – April 29. Headlined by a 3-for-4 effort in a 10-0 win over Omaha on Sunday, Thompson spearheaded the Bison offense slugging 1.444 including three home runs and seven RBI during his player of the week timeframe. He has a 3.000 GPA in business administration.
