Howard Wood Dakota Relays Schedule of Events
The North Dakota State University track & field teams will host the Lyle Hokanson Classic at Schlanser Track and the Ellig Sports Complex on Friday, May 1.
Field events are scheduled to begin with the women's hammer throw at 1 p.m. Javelin competition begins at 2:30 p.m., with the pole vault at 3 p.m. and high jump and long jump at 3:30 p.m. Running events will begin with the 4x100m relay at 4:50 p.m.
Several Bison athletes will also compete at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Friday and Saturday.
The meet will be NDSU's final competition before the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Macomb, Ill., on May 13-15. The Bison women are seven-time defending Summit League outdoor champions, while the NDSU men have won five straight outdoor team titles.
