FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's track & field team won several events and posted numerous significant performances on Saturday at the Dakota Quad.

The Bison women swept the top three places in the shot put, with
Akealy Moton winning at 56-05.25 (17.20m).
Tasha Willing was the runner-up at 51-08.25 (15.75m), and
Amanda Anderson took third at 49-09.75 (15.18m).

The Bison women finished 2-3-4-5 in the weight throw with
Amy Herrington, Willing, Anderson and
Rebecca Tomann. Willing posted a personal-best mark of 63-6 (19.35m), moving up to ninth all-time at NDSU in the event. Tomann threw a personal-best 61-0 (18.59m).

Moton ranks third in the NCAA in the shot put this season, and Willing now ranks among the national Top 40 in both throwing events.

Senior
Jennie Baragar-Petrash won the mile in 4:50.78 – a time that falls ninth on the NDSU all-time list.

Sophomore sprinter
Kendra Kelley moved up to ninth all-time at NDSU in the 200m, taking runner-up honors in 24.74.

Daejha Moss won the long jump with a mark of 19-01.25 (5.82m), and freshman
Grace Emineth was the runner-up at 18-02.25 (5.54m).

Bailey Cowling both cleared 5-07.25 (1.71m) in the high jump, taking second and third place. Freshman
Jenna Bergantine cleared a season-best 5-03.25 (1.61m).

Nell Graham won the 400m dash, finishing in 57.94.
Peyton Frolek was a close runner-up in 58.05.

Salmata Korgho ran a personal-best 8.79 seconds for second place in the 60m hurdles. She ranks 11th-fastest in NDSU history as only a freshman. Sophomore
Bailee Dierks took third in 8.97 seconds.
